Jesus says to her, “Believe Me, woman, that an hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you⁺ worship the Father.

John 4:22 (BLB)

You⁺ worship what you⁺ do not know; we worship what we know, because salvation is of the Jews.

John 4:23 (BLB)

But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father also seeks such who worship Him.

John 4:24 (BLB)

God [is] Spirit, and it is necessary for those worshiping Him to worship in spirit and truth.”

John 5:22 (BLB)

For the Father judges no one, but He has given all judgment to the Son,

John 5:23 (BLB)

so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one not honoring the Son does not honor the Father, the One having sent Him.

John 5:24 (BLB)

Truly, truly, I say to you⁺ that the one hearing My word and believing the One having sent Me has eternal life and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

John 5:25 (BLB)

Truly, truly, I say to you⁺ that an hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those having heard will live.

John 5:39 (BLB)

You⁺ search the Scriptures because you⁺ think to have eternal life in them, and these are they testifying concerning Me;

and you⁺ are not willing to come to Me so that you⁺ may have life.

John 5:44 (BLB)

How are you⁺ able to believe, receiving glory from one another, and you⁺ do not seek the glory that [is] from the only God?

John 5:46 (BLB)

For if you⁺ were believing Moses, you⁺ would have been believing Me; for he wrote concerning Me.

John 6:27 (BLB)

Do not work [for] the food that is perishing, but [for] the food remaining unto eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you⁺; for God the Father sealed Him.”

John 6:30 (BLB)

Therefore they said to Him, “Then what sign do You do, so that we may see and may believe You? What do You work?

John 6:31 (BLB)

Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, as it is written: ‘He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.’”

John 6:32 (BLB)

Therefore Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you⁺, Moses has not given you⁺ the bread out of heaven, but My Father gives you⁺ the true bread out of heaven.

John 6:33 (BLB)

For the bread of God is the One coming down out of heaven and giving life to the world.”

John 6:34 (BLB)

Therefore they said to Him, “Sir, always give us this bread.”

John 6:35 (BLB)

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one coming to Me never shall hunger, and the one believing in Me never will thirst at any time.

But I said to you⁺ that you⁺ have also seen Me and you⁺ do not believe.

John 6:37 (BLB)

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one coming to Me I shall never cast out.

John 6:38 (BLB)

For I have come down from heaven, not so that I may do My will, but the will of the One having sent Me.

John 6:39 (BLB)

Now this is the will of the One having sent Me, that all that He has given Me, I should lose none of it, but I will raise it up in the last day.

John 6:40 (BLB)

For this is the will of My Father, that everyone beholding the Son and believing in Him may have eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day.”

John 6:41 (BLB)

Therefore the Jews were grumbling about Him because He said, “I am the bread having come down out of heaven.”

John 6:42 (BLB)

And they were saying, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How then does He say, ‘I have come down out of heaven?’”

John 6:43 (BLB)

Jesus answered and said to them, “Do not grumble with one another.

John 6:44 (BLB)

No one is able to come to Me unless the Father, the One having sent Me, should draw him, and I will raise him up in the last day.

John 6:45 (BLB)

It is written in the Prophets: ‘And they will all be taught of God.’ Everyone having heard from the Father and having learned comes to Me.

John 6:46 (BLB)

Not that anyone has seen the Father, except the One being from God; He has seen the Father.

John 6:47 (BLB)

Truly, truly, I say to you⁺, the one believing has eternal life.

John 6:48 (BLB)

I am the bread of life.

John 6:49 (BLB)

Your⁺ fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and they died.

John 6:50 (BLB)

This is the bread coming down out of heaven, so that anyone may eat of it and not die.

John 6:51 (BLB)

I am the living bread having come down out of heaven. If anyone shall eat of this bread, he will live to the age. And the bread also that I will give for the life of the world is My flesh.”

John 6:52 (BLB)

Therefore the Jews were arguing with one another, saying, “How is this One able to give us His flesh to eat?”

John 6:53 (BLB)

Therefore Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you⁺, unless you⁺ shall eat the flesh of the Son of Man and shall drink His blood, you⁺ do not have life in yourselves.

John 6:54 (BLB)

The one eating My flesh and drinking My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day.

John 6:55 (BLB)

For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink.

John 6:56 (BLB)

The one eating My flesh and drinking My blood remains in Me, and I in him.

John 6:57 (BLB)

Just as the living Father sent Me and I live because of the Father, the one also feeding on Me, he also will live because of Me.

John 6:58 (BLB)

This is the bread having come down out of heaven, not as the fathers ate and died. The one eating this bread will live to the age.”

John 6:59 (BLB)

He said these things teaching in the synagogue in Capernaum.

John 6:60 (BLB)

Therefore many of His disciples, having heard, said, “This word is difficult; who is able to hear it?”

John 6:61 (BLB)

But Jesus, knowing in Himself that His disciples are grumbling about this, said to them, “Does this cause you⁺ to stumble?

John 6:62 (BLB)

Then [what] if you⁺ may behold the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?

John 6:63 (BLB)

It is the Spirit making alive; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I have spoken to you⁺ are spirit and they are life.

John 6:64 (BLB)

But there are some of you⁺ who do not believe.” For Jesus had known from the beginning who are those not believing and who it is who will betray Him.

John 6:65 (BLB)

And He was saying, “Because of this, I have said to you⁺ that no one is able to come to Me unless it shall have been given to him from the Father.”

John 6:66 (BLB)

From this [time] many of His disciples went away to the back and no longer were walking with Him.

John 7:18 (BLB)

The one speaking from himself seeks [his] own glory, but the One seeking the glory of the One having sent Him, He is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

John 7:37 (BLB)

Now in the last day of the feast, the great [day], Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone may thirst, let him come to Me and drink.

John 7:38 (BLB)

The one believing in Me, as the Scripture said: ‘Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.’”

John 7:39 (BLB)

Now He said this about the Spirit, whom those having believed in Him were about to receive; for the Spirit was not yet, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

John 7:46 (BLB)

The officers answered, “Never did a man speak thus, as this man speaks!”

John 7:47 (BLB)

Therefore the Pharisees answered them, “Have you⁺ also been deceived?

John 7:48 (BLB)

Did anyone out of the rulers or out of the Pharisees believe in Him?

John 7:49 (BLB)

But this crowd, not knowing the law, they are accursed.”

John 8:11 (BLB)

And she said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now [on] sin no more.”

John 8:24 (BLB)

Therefore I said to you⁺ that you⁺ will die in your⁺ sins; for unless you⁺ believe that I am [He], you⁺ will die in your⁺ sins.”

John 8:34 (BLB)

Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you⁺ that everyone who [is] doing sin is a slave of sin.

John 8:35 (BLB)

Now the slave does not remain in the house to the age; the son remains to the age.

John 8:36 (BLB)

Therefore if the Son shall set you⁺ free, you⁺ will be really free.

John 8:41 (BLB)

You⁺ are doing the works of your⁺ father.” Therefore they said to Him, “We have not been born of sexual immorality. We have one Father—God.”

John 8:42 (BLB)

Jesus said to them, “If God were your⁺ Father, you⁺ would love Me, for I came forth from God and am here; for neither have I come of Myself, but He sent Me.

John 8:44 (BLB)

You⁺ are of [your] father the devil, and you⁺ want to do the desires of your⁺ father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he may speak falsehood, he speaks from [his] own, because he is a liar and the father of it.

John 8:47 (BLB)

The one being of God hears the words of God; because of this you⁺ do not hear, because you⁺ are not of God.”

John 8:49 (BLB)

Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon, but I honor My Father, and you⁺ dishonor Me.

John 8:56 (BLB)

Abraham your⁺ father exulted that he should see My day, and he saw and rejoiced.”

John 9:3 (BLB)

Jesus answered, “Neither this [man] sinned, nor his parents; but [it was] so that the works of God should be displayed in him.

John 9:28 (BLB)

And they reviled him and said, “You are a disciple of that One, but we are disciples of Moses.

John 10:1 (BLB)

“Truly, truly, I say to you⁺, the one not entering through the door to the fold of the sheep, but going up another way, he is a thief and a robber.

John 10:5 (BLB)

But they will never follow a stranger, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.”

John 10:14 (BLB)

I am the good shepherd, and I know My own, and My own know Me—

John 10:15 (BLB)

just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father—and I lay down My life for the sheep.

John 10:16 (BLB)

And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. It is necessary for Me to bring those also, and they will hear My voice, and there will be one flock [and] one shepherd.

John 10:17 (BLB)

Because of this, the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I might take it again.

John 10:18 (BLB)

No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it again. This commandment I received from My Father.”

John 10:26 (BLB)

But you⁺ do not believe, because you⁺ are not of My sheep.

John 10:27 (BLB)

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

John 10:28 (BLB)

And I give them eternal life, and never shall they perish to the age, and no one will snatch them out of My hand.

John 10:29 (BLB)

My Father, who has given [them] to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the hand of the Father.

John 10:30 (BLB)

I and the Father are one.”

John 10:31 (BLB)

Therefore the Jews took up stones again so that they might stone Him.

John 10:32 (BLB)

Jesus answered them, “I showed you⁺ many good works from the Father; because of which work of them do you⁺ stone Me?”

John 10:33 (BLB)

The Jews answered Him, “We do not stone You concerning a good work, but concerning blasphemy, and because You, being a man, make Yourself God.”

John 10:34 (BLB)

Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your⁺ Law: ‘I said you⁺ are gods’?

John 10:35 (BLB)

If he called them gods to whom the word of God came—and the Scripture is not able to be broken—

John 10:36 (BLB)

do you⁺ say [of Him] whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You blaspheme,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?

John 11:25 (BLB)

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; the one believing in Me, even if he may die, he will live.

John 11:26 (BLB)

And everyone living and believing in Me shall never die, to the age. Do you believe this?”

John 11:33 (BLB)

Therefore Jesus, as He saw her weeping and the Jews having come with her weeping, was deeply moved in spirit and Himself troubled.

John 11:35 (BLB)

Jesus wept.

John 11:52 (BLB)

and not for the nation only, but also so that the children of God, those having been scattered, He might gather together into one.

John 12:27 (BLB)

Now My soul has been troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But because of this I came to this hour.

John 12:32 (BLB)

And I, when I shall be lifted up from the earth, will draw all to Myself.”

John 12:38 (BLB)

so that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled that said: “Lord, who has believed our report? And to whom was the arm of the Lord revealed?”

John 12:39 (BLB)

Because of this, they were not able to believe, because again Isaiah said:

John 12:40 (BLB)

“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they might not see with the eyes, and understand with the heart, and turn, and I will heal them.”

John 12:41 (BLB)

Isaiah said these things because he saw His glory and spoke about Him.

John 13:10 (BLB)

Jesus says to him, “The one having been bathed has no need to wash, except the feet, but is wholly clean. And you⁺ all are clean, but not all.”

John 13:18 (BLB)

I speak not about all of you⁺—I know whom I chose—but so that the Scripture may be fulfilled: ‘The one eating My bread lifted up his heel against Me.’

John 13:20 (BLB)

Truly, truly, I say to you⁺, the one receiving anyone I shall send receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives the One having sent Me.”

John 13:27 (BLB)

And after the morsel, then Satan entered into him. Therefore Jesus says to him, “What you do, do quickly.”

John 13:30 (BLB)

Therefore, having received the morsel, he went out immediately. And it was night.

John 14:2 (BLB)

In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. And if not so, would I have told you⁺ that I am going to prepare a place for you⁺?

John 14:3 (BLB)

And if I go and prepare a place for you⁺, I am coming again, and I will receive you⁺ to Myself, so that where I am, you⁺ may be also.

John 14:6 (BLB)

Jesus says to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father if not through Me.

John 14:11 (BLB)

Believe Me that I [am] in the Father and the Father [is] in Me; but if not, believe because of the works themselves.

John 14:13 (BLB)

And whatever you⁺ might ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14:14 (BLB)

If you⁺ ask Me anything in My name, I will do [it].

John 14:15 (BLB)

If you⁺ love Me, you⁺ will keep My commandments.

John 14:16 (BLB)

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you⁺ another Advocate so that He may be with you⁺ to the age—

John 14:17 (BLB)

the Spirit of truth, whom the world is not able to receive, because it does not see Him, nor does it know [Him]. But you⁺ know Him, for He abides with you⁺ and will be in you⁺.

John 14:18 (BLB)

I will not leave you⁺ as orphans; I am coming to you⁺.

John 14:19 (BLB)

Yet a little while, and the world sees Me no more, but you⁺ see Me. Because I live, you⁺ also will live.

John 14:20 (BLB)

In that day you⁺ will know that I [am] in My Father, and you⁺ in Me, and I in you⁺.

John 14:26 (BLB)

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you⁺ all things and will remind you⁺ of all the things that I said to you⁺.

John 15:1 (BLB)

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.

John 15:2 (BLB)

Every branch not bearing fruit in Me, He takes it away; and every one bearing fruit, He prunes it clean so that it may bear more fruit.

John 15:3 (BLB)

Already you⁺ are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you⁺.

John 15:4 (BLB)

Remain in Me, and I in you⁺. As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither you⁺, unless you⁺ remain in Me.

John 15:5 (BLB)

I am the vine; you⁺ [are] the branches. The one remaining in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit. For apart from Me you⁺ are able to do nothing.

John 15:6 (BLB)

If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown out like the branch and is dried up; and they gather them and cast [them] into the fire, and they are burned.

John 15:7 (BLB)

If you⁺ remain in Me and My words remain in you⁺, you⁺ shall ask whatever you⁺ wish, and to you⁺ it will come to pass.

John 15:8 (BLB)

In this My Father is glorified, that you⁺ should bear much fruit, and you⁺ shall be My disciples.

John 15:11 (BLB)

These things I have spoken to you⁺ so that My joy may be in you⁺ and your⁺ joy may be full.

John 15:12 (BLB)

This is My commandment, that you⁺ should love one another as I have loved you⁺.

John 15:13 (BLB)

Greater love has no one than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends.

John 15:14 (BLB)

You⁺ are My friends if you⁺ do what I command you⁺.

John 15:15 (BLB)

No longer do I call you⁺ servants, because the servant does not know what his master is doing. But I have called you⁺ friends, because all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you⁺.

John 15:16 (BLB)

You⁺ did not choose Me, but I chose you⁺, and I appointed you⁺ so that you⁺ should go and bear fruit, and [that] your⁺ fruit should remain, so that whatever you⁺ might ask the Father in My name, He may give you⁺.

John 15:18 (BLB)

If the world hates you⁺, you⁺ know that it has hated Me before you⁺.

John 15:19 (BLB)

If you⁺ were of the world, the world would love [you] [as] its own; but because you⁺ are not of the world, but I chose you⁺ out of the world, on account of this, the world hates you⁺.

John 15:20 (BLB)

Remember the word that I said to you⁺: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you⁺; if they kept My word, they will keep yours⁺ also.

John 15:21 (BLB)

But they will do all these things against you⁺ on account of My name, because they do not know the One having sent Me.

John 15:22 (BLB)

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

John 15:26 (BLB)

When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you⁺ from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes forth from the Father, He will testify about Me.

John 15:27 (BLB)

And you⁺ also testify, because you⁺ are with Me from the beginning.[]

John 16:2 (BLB)

They will put you⁺ out of the synagogues; but an hour is coming that everyone having killed you⁺ will think he is offering a service to God.

John 16:7 (BLB)

But I say to you⁺ the truth, it is profitable for you⁺ that I should go away. For unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you⁺; but if I go, I will send Him to you⁺.

John 16:8 (BLB)

And having come, He will convict the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness and concerning judgment:

John 16:9 (BLB)

concerning sin indeed, because they do not believe in Me;

John 16:13 (BLB)

But when He, the Spirit of truth, shall come, He will guide you⁺ into all the truth. For He will not speak from Himself, but whatever He may hear, He will speak. And He will declare to you⁺ the things coming.

John 16:14 (BLB)

He will glorify Me, for He will take from that which [is] Mine and will declare [it] to you⁺.

John 16:15 (BLB)

All things, as many as the Father has, are Mine. Because of this, I said that He will take from that which [is] Mine and will declare [it] to you⁺.

John 16:23 (BLB)

And in that day you⁺ will ask of Me nothing. Truly, truly, I say to you⁺, whatever you⁺ may ask the Father in My name, He will give you⁺.

John 16:24 (BLB)

Until now you⁺ have asked nothing in My name. Ask and you⁺ will receive, so that your⁺ joy may be full.

John 17:2 (BLB)

as You gave to Him authority over all flesh, so that all whom You have given to Him, He may give to them eternal life.

John 17:3 (BLB)

Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You sent.

John 17:5 (BLB)

And now, glorify Me—You, Father, with Yourself—with the glory that I had with You before the world existed.

John 17:6 (BLB)

I revealed Your name to the men whom You gave to Me out of the world. They were Yours, and to Me You gave them, and they have kept Your word.

John 17:9 (BLB)

I ask concerning them. I do not ask concerning the world, but concerning those whom You have given to Me, for they are Yours.

John 17:10 (BLB)

And all things of Mine are Yours, and Yours Mine, and I have been glorified in them.

John 17:11 (BLB)

And I am no longer in the world, and they are themselves in the world, and I am coming to You. Holy Father, keep them in Your name, which You have given to Me, so that they may be one as We [are].

John 17:12 (BLB)

When I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, which You have given to Me. And I guarded [them], and none of them perished except the son of destruction, so that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

John 17:15 (BLB)

I do not ask that You would take them out of the world, but that You would keep them from evil.

John 17:17 (BLB)

Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.

John 17:19 (BLB)

and for them I sanctify Myself, so that they also may be sanctified in truth.

John 17:20 (BLB)

But I do not ask for these only, but also for those believing in Me through their word,

John 17:21 (BLB)

that all may be one, as You, Father, [are] in Me, and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.

John 17:22 (BLB)

And I have given to them the glory that You have given to Me, so that they may be one as We [are] one—

John 17:23 (BLB)

I in them and You in Me—so that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me and loved them even as You loved Me.

John 17:24 (BLB)

Father, [those] whom You have given to Me, I want that they also may be with Me where I am, so that they may behold My glory that You have given to Me because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.

John 18:36 (BLB)

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world; if My kingdom were of this world, My attendants would fight so that I would not be delivered up to the Jews. But now My kingdom is not from here.”

John 18:37 (BLB)

Therefore Pilate said to Him, “Then You are a king!” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, so that I may testify to the truth. Everyone being of the truth hears My voice.”

John 19:4 (BLB)

And Pilate went forth outside again, and he says to them, “Behold, I bring Him out to you⁺ so that you⁺ may know that I find no guilt in Him.”

John 19:11 (BLB)

Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority over Me if it were not given to you from above. Because of this, the one having delivered Me up to you has greater sin.”

John 19:12 (BLB)

From this [time] Pilate was seeking to release Him; but the Jews cried out, saying, “If you release this [man], you are not a friend of Caesar. Everyone making himself a king speaks against Caesar.”

John 19:13 (BLB)

Therefore Pilate, having heard these words, brought Jesus out and sat down upon the judgment seat at a place called The Stone Pavement, and in Hebrew, Gabbatha.

John 19:14 (BLB)

Now it was the Preparation of the Passover; it was about the sixth hour. And he says to the Jews, “Behold your⁺ King!”

John 19:15 (BLB)

So they cried out, “Away with Him, away! Crucify Him!” Pilate says to them, “Shall I crucify your⁺ King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king except Caesar.”

John 19:16 (BLB)

So then he delivered Him to them so that He might be crucified. Therefore they took Jesus.

John 19:30 (BLB)

Therefore when Jesus took the sour wine, He said, “It has been finished.” And having bowed the head, He yielded up the spirit.

John 19:34 (BLB)

But one of the soldiers pierced His side with a spear, and blood and water came out immediately.

John 19:38 (BLB)

And after these things, Joseph from Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus (but concealed because of the fear of the Jews) asked Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus; and Pilate gave permission. Therefore he came and took away His body.

John 19:39 (BLB)

And Nicodemus, the one having come to Him by night at the first, also came bearing a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred litras.

John 19:40 (BLB)

Therefore they took the body of Jesus and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, as is the custom among the Jews to prepare for burial.

John 19:41 (BLB)

Now there was a garden in the place where He was crucified, and in the garden a new tomb in which no one was yet having been laid.

John 19:42 (BLB)

Therefore because of the Preparation of the Jews [and] since the tomb was near, they laid Jesus there.

John 20:17 (BLB)

Jesus says to her, “Do not touch Me, for not yet have I ascended to the Father. But go to My brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your⁺ Father, and [to] My God and your⁺ God.’”

John 20:19 (BLB)

Therefore, it being evening the same day, the first of the week, and the doors where the disciples were having been shut because of the fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and He says to them, “Peace to you⁺.”

John 20:21 (BLB)

Therefore Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you⁺. As the Father has sent Me forth, I also send you⁺.”

John 20:22 (BLB)

And having said this, He breathed on [them], and He says to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

John 20:23 (BLB)

If you⁺ might forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you⁺ might retain any, they are retained.”

John 20:25 (BLB)

Therefore the other disciples were saying to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the mark of the nails, and I put my finger into the mark of the nails, and I put my hands into His side, I will never believe.”

John 20:26 (BLB)

And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them, the doors having been shut. Jesus comes, and He stood in the midst and said, “Peace to you⁺.”

John 20:27 (BLB)

Then He says to Thomas, “Bring your finger here and see My hands, and bring your hand and put [it] into My side; and be not unbelieving, but believing.”

John 20:30 (BLB)

Therefore indeed Jesus also did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book.

John 20:31 (BLB)

But these have been written so that you⁺ may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and so that, believing, you⁺ may have life in His name.

John 21:15 (BLB)

Therefore when they had dined, Jesus says to Simon Peter, “Simon [son] of John, do you love Me more than these?” He says to Him, “Yes, Lord, You know that I dearly love You.” He says to him, “Feed My lambs.”

John 21:16 (BLB)

He says to him again a second time, “Simon [son] of John, do you love Me?” He says to Him, “Yes, Lord, You know that I dearly love You.” He says to him, “Shepherd My sheep.”

John 21:17 (BLB)

He says to him the third time, “Simon [son] of John, do you dearly love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you dearly love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I dearly love You.” Jesus says to him, “Feed My sheep.

John 21:18 (BLB)

Truly, truly, I say to you, when you were younger, you were girding yourself and were walking where you were wanting; but when you shall be old, you will stretch forth your hands, and another will gird you and will bring [you] where you do not want.”

John 21:19 (BLB)

Now He said this, signifying by what death he will glorify God. And having said this, He says to him, “Follow Me.”
