In righteousness you will be established. You will be far away from oppression—for you will not fear, and from terror—for it will not come near to you.

Behold, you will call on a nation you do not know, and a nation you do not know will run to you, on account of YHWH your God and the Holy One of Israel, for He has glorified you.”

Seek YHWH while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.

Isaiah 55:7 (BLB)

Let the wicked one forsake his way, and the man of iniquity his thoughts; and let him return to YHWH, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

For as the rain comes down—and the snow—from the heavens, and [from] there it does not return until it has quenched the earth and made it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the one sowing and bread to the one eating,

so is My word that goes forth from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty until it has done that which I delight, and it will prosper for that which I send it.

Isaiah 56:2 (BLB)

Blessed [is] the man [who] does this, and the son of man [who] grabs hold of it, keeping the Sabbath from being profaned, and keeping his hand from doing any evil.”

Let no son of the foreigner [who] has joined himself to YHWH speak, saying, “YHWH will surely separate me from His people.” And let the eunuch not say, “Behold, I [am] a dry tree.”

For thus says YHWH: “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, and choose what I delight in, and hold fast to My covenant:

Isaiah 56:5 (BLB)

And will I give to them in My house and within My walls a place and a name better than sons and daughters—an everlasting name I will give to them, that will not be cut off.

Isaiah 56:6 (BLB)

And the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to YHWH to serve Him and to love the name of YHWH, to be His servants, all keeping the Sabbath from being profaned and holding firmly to My covenant,

even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and I will make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations.”

His watchmen [are] blind—all of them! They do not know; all of them [are] mute dogs, they are not able to bark, dreaming lying down, loving to sleep.

And these dogs [are] strong of appetite; they do not know satisfaction; and they [are] shepherds not knowing discernment; they all turn to their own way, each man for his own gain from his quarter.

The righteous one has perished, and no man takes [it] upon the heart; and men of devotion are gathered up, [and] no one considers that the righteous one is gathered up from the face of evil.

“Why have we fasted and You have not seen—we have afflicted our soul, and You have not noticed?” “Behold, on the day of your⁺ fast you⁺ find pleasure, and you⁺ oppress all your⁺ laborers!

Behold, for quarreling and strife you⁺ fast, and for striking with the fist of wickedness. You⁺ shall not fast like this day to make heard your⁺ voice on high.

Is it like this, the fast I choose? A day for a man to afflict his soul, for bowing down his head like a reed, and spreading out sackcloth and ashes—do you call this a fast, and a day of pleasure for YHWH?

Is not this the fast I choose: To open the bonds of wickedness, to untie the cords of the yoke, and to send forth the crushed ones free, and tear off every yoke?

Isaiah 58:7 (BLB)

Is [it] not to distribute your bread to the hungry, and the wandering the poor you should bring into the house; when you see one naked then clothe him, and do not hide yourself from your own flesh?

Isaiah 58:8 (BLB)

Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will sprout quickly, and your righteousness will go before you; the glory of YHWH will gather behind you.

Isaiah 58:9 (BLB)

Then you will call, and YHWH will answer; you will cry out, and He will say, ‘Here I [am]! If you take away the yoke from your midst, the pointing of the finger and the speaking of wickedness,

Isaiah 58:10 (BLB)

and [if] you extend to the hungry your soul, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your darkness [will be] like the noonday.

If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, doing your pleasure on My holy day, and [if] you call the Sabbath a delight, holy of YHWH, honored, and [if] you honor it above doing your own ways above finding your own delight and speaking a word,

then you will delight yourself in YHWH; and I will cause you to ride on the heights of the earth, and I will feed you the inheritance of Jacob your father.” For the mouth of YHWH has spoken.

For but your⁺ iniquities [that] have been causing separation for you⁺ from your⁺ God, and your⁺ sins have hidden the Face from you⁺, away from hearing.

No one calls for justice, and no one pleads his case in truth, trusting in emptiness, and speaking vanity, conceiving trouble, and birthing iniquity.

Breaking faith and being false with YHWH, and removing ourselves from following our God; speaking [words of] oppression and revolt, conceiving and musing from the heart words of deception.

“And He will come to Zion [as] One redeeming, and for those turning back from transgression in Jacob, a declaration of YHWH.

Isaiah 59:21 (BLB)

“And Me, this [is] My covenant with them,” says YHWH. “My Spirit who [is] upon you, and My words that I have put in your mouth, they will not depart from your mouth and from the mouth of your seed, and from the mouth of the seed of your seed, says YHWH, from now and even to forever.”

Isaiah 60:2 (BLB)

For, behold, the darkness may cover the earth, and deep darkness the peoples; and over you YHWH will rise, and His glory will be seen over you.

And nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning.

Look down from the heavens and see, from the habitation of Your holiness and Your glory! Where [is] Your zeal and Your strength, the groaning of Your bowels and Your compassion toward me—are they restrained?

For You [are] our Father, though Abraham does not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us, You, O YHWH, [are] our Father, Our Redeemer from Everlasting [is] Your name.

Why do You let us stray O YHWH, from Your ways, [and] harden our hearts from fearing You? Return Your servants for the sake of the tribes of Your inheritance.

Isaiah 64:1 (BLB)

If only You would rend the heavens [and] come down; at Your presence the mountains would shake,

like the kindling of brushwood [by] the fire—the fire boils the waters—to make known Your name to Your adversaries, [that] before Your face the nations will tremble,

You meet the one rejoicing and doing righteousness; in Your ways they remember You. Behold, You were angry, and we had sinned; in them is continuance, then will we be saved?

And all of us have become like an unclean one, all our righteous acts [are] as a filthy rag; and all of us wither like the leaf, and our iniquities carry us away like the wind.

And no one is calling on Your name, stirring himself up to take hold of You; for You have hidden Your face from us, and delivered us into the hand of our iniquities.

Do not be angry, O YHWH, beyond measure, and do not remember [our] iniquity forever! Behold, please, look; we [are] all Your people!

Isaiah 65:3 (BLB)

the people provoking Me to my face continually, offering sacrifices in the gardens and burning incense on the bricks,

sitting among the graves and spending nights in lookouts, those eating the flesh of swine and the broth of of abominations [in] their vessels;

those saying, ‘Keep yourself away; do not come near to me, for I am set apart [from] you’—these [are] smoke in My nostrils, a fire burning all the day!

And you⁺ forsaking YHWH, those forgetful of My holy mountain, of those arranging a table for Gad, and those filling mixed wine for Meni—

that one blessing himself in the land will bless himself by the God of truth, and the one swearing in the land will swear by the God of truth; for the former troubles will be forgotten, for they will be hidden from My eyes.

And it will come to pass that before they call, then I will answer; and [while] they are still speaking, then I will hear.

Isaiah 66:1 (BLB)

Thus says YHWH: “The heavens [are] My throne, and the earth [is] the stool for My feet! Where [is] this house for Me that you⁺ will build, and where [is] this place of My rest?

Isaiah 66:2 (BLB)

And all these [things] My own hand has made, and all these [things] have come to be!” a declaration of YHWH. “And to this one I will look: To the poor and stricken one in spirit, and [who] trembles at My word.

And it will come to pass, from New Moon to New Moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, [that] all flesh will come to worship before Me,” says YHWH.
